At Out To Shop Ltd, we respect and protect the privacy of our customers and those who use our Web Sites. Out For Baby (www.outforbaby.co.nz) is owned by Out To Shop Ltd (OTS) and is a member web site of the Out To Shop Etail Group of web stores. These Group stores target different retail markets and share common databases all owned by OTS.
The following Privacy Statement provides details about how your personal information is collected and used by us. This privacy statement applies to all web sites that form part of the Out To Shop Etail Group, and the products and services that are located in, but not limited to, the OTS domains.
Information Collection and Use
Out To Shop Ltd is the sole owner of information collected on our Web Sites. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others unless we say so under Sharing and Usage below. OTS collects information from our users at several different points on our Web Sites and in our dealings with you. When you order online from us, we collect and hold the information you provide to us as part of the ordering process. In most cases this is provided in the shopping cart. The same applies to any forms you may complete online (for example a membership application or registration), or contacts you have with, or through us (for example Tell A Friend, or feedback online about our products and services). In fact any time you make contact with us (whether its online or the more traditional ways of paper, phone or fax etc) we may collect and hold your personal information. It helps us to provide you with the best customer service we can, and that’s important to us.
In most cases we don’t receive and hold your credit card details. This applies when when you shop online through our shopping cart using automated DPS transactions. It’s only the first six and last two digits of a credit card that are supplied to us to manage your order. However there is an important exception for phone or fax orders or for international orders through our shopping cart. When you pay using these options we do receive your credit card or payment details and hold them securely.
Information we collect from others
Sometimes our business partners will also give us information about you that we hold on to. For example, if you buy our products and services from a shopping web site that is not an OTS web site, your information may be passed on to us so that we can fulfil your order and contact you if necessary about that order. We may also receive information about you from banks, payment agencies and credit agencies to help us recover and report on money you may owe.
